The Emerald Jazz Dance Team has been in existence since 1982 and is among the nation’s top programs! In 1995 the team was crowned the very first Universal Dance Association’s Open Dance Team National Champions!

For the past 11 years the team has taken numerous competitive honors, ranked in the top ten and has earned “countless” PAID lodging bids to National Dance Alliance Collegiate National Championship held in Daytona Beach Florida. They hold a current ranking of 10th in the NATION!

Along with being one of the most talented teams in the country, the Emerald Jazz holds a cumulative team 3.3 GPA.

Audition Dates
The Emerald Jazz will be conducting auditions throughout the year for the 2007-2008 squad with a final audition taking place on April 22, 2007. Feel free to audition early! To audition for the squad you must complete a physical packet and Emerald Jazz Audition Form. Please contact the Spirit Coordinator for questions, audition dates, times and location.

$25 Registration Fee (make checks payable to Wright State University and bring with you on audition day).

For All Potential Team Members! A Physical Packet must be completed and turned in before auditions. Click here to download the packet . All forms must be completed and mailed to the Athletic Department within 7 days of to the event or you will be ineligible to audition. No exceptions! You will also need the front and back copy of your Insurance card, and a copy of your shot records to accompany the forms. Mail and/or fax forms to:
