Stefanie Shiramizu, a freshman libero on the Wright State volleyball team, has been selected as the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending November 14, the league office announced on Monday.

Shiramizu (Okemos, MI/Okemos) recorded 60 digs as the Raiders closed out their season last week by splitting two matches. She tallied 29 assists in a four-set setback to Atlantic 10 regular-season champion Dayton on Wednesday and followed that up with 31 assists in WSU's win in four sets over Youngstown State on Saturday.

Shiramizu finished the season with 510 digs overall, which is the fourth highest single-season total in Raider history, and her 4.11 dig per set average ranks eighth in the Horizon League.
