The Wright State women's track team finished sixth as the Horizon League Championships concluded Sunday at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.
Freshman Cassandra Lloyd was named as the Horizon League Running Newcomer of the Year as she won the 100 meter hurdles in a League and school record time of 13.79. The time also qualifies her for competition at the NCAA Mideast Regionals in Louisville May 29-30.
Tiffany Brigham placed second in the 100 meter dash, Heather Parrish fourth in the triple jump, Emily Folino fifth in the 100 meter hurdles, Kim Ryan fifth in the pole vault, and Natalie Hopwood sixth in the 5000 meter run.
