The Raiders picked up their first January win since the 2005 season as they split a pair of matches on the road, falling 7-0 at Duquesne and winning 7-0 at Robert Morris. The Raiders dropped all nine matches versus the Dukes, but rallied for a sweep of the action against the Colonials on their home courts.

The Raiders couldn't pull through with a victory, but another spring season has started for the Green and Gold, as they dropped a 7-0 match at Ball State. Sophomore Masha Peresetsky and freshman Amanda Albuquerque each dropped three-set decisions, while each WSU performer played competitive sets versus the Cardinals.

The Raiders traveled to the Fort Wayne Invitational where freshman Taylor Hines and Amy Nini each claimed the back draw titles in their respective flights. Senior Jackie Garrett fell in her back draw final, while junior Kenisha Webb fell in the #1 singles back draw championship game.
