MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Wright State women’s tennis program dropped three matches on their Wisconsin road trip last week, falling 5-2 in their opener against Green Bay, before dropping a pair of 7-0 decisions at Milwaukee and Marquette.
The Raiders looked good in their opening match against the Phoenix, as WSU claimed two of the first three singles matches. Masha Peresetsky claimed the #2 singles victory over Kelly Stadum by scores of 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 and Kenisha Webb posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory at the #3 singles spot. The Phoenix would rally to win the final three matches and claim the Horizon League tilt, 5-2.

On Friday, the Raiders lone win came in the doubles portion of the contest, as Peresetsky and Webb teamed up for the win at the #1 spot. The teammates won an 8-6 match over the UWM team of Kari Kastenholz and Sammi Schoen.
The Raiders couldn’t muster a victory in their weekend finale with Marquette as the BIG EAST foe claimed all six of the singles matches and the three doubles tilts.
The Raiders will next be in action on Tuesday, March 31 as they travel to Cincinnati to face off with Xavier at 3:00. The the Raiders will open a homestand on Thursday against Dayton, before hosting a pair of Horizon League opponents over the weekend.
