Wright State third baseman Louie Haney was selected to the All-Tournament Team as the Horizon League Softball Championship concluded Sunday in Pendleton, Indiana.
In four games, Haney was eight for 15 at the plate (.533) with six runs scored and three runs batted in. She was two-for-four with two runs scored and a RBI in wins against both Loyola and Butler, two-for-three with a RBI versus Cleveland State and two-for-four with two runs scored against UIC.
The eight hits gave Haney 76 on the season, which is the second-most in Wright State history, and the six runs scored pushed her year total to 43, which is fourth on the all-time list.
Cleveland State claimed its first League title since 1997 as the Vikings won the championship game 4-2 against UIC.
