Wright State Director of Athletics Bob Grant announced Monday that head women's basketball coach Bridgett Williams was informed that her contract would not be renewed. Williams was the head coach for nine seasons and posted an overall record of 109-155 at WSU.

Wright State saw its season come to an end Wednesday night as the Butler Bulldogs defeated the Raiders 70-57 in the quarterfinals of the 2010 Speedway Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Wright State led by just four with two minutes remaining in the first half, but followed with a 22-2 run to break the game open as the #7 seeded Raiders defeated the #10 seeded Youngstown State Penguins 61-43 in the first round of the 2010 Speedway Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship at the Nutter Center Monday night.
