Green Bay scorched the nets for 67 percent in the first half, including six of eight from three-point range, as the Phoenix built a 37-21 halftime advantage en route to a 67-36 decision in the 2009 Speedway Horizon League Women's Basketball Tournament Semifinals at the Kress Events Center Friday night.

The Phoenix broke a 3-3 tie with a 20-2 run and hit 12 of their first 17 shots overall, including five of seven from behind the arc, in building a 32-11 advantage with 8:23 remaining in the first half.

Green Bay connected on 14 of 21 shots over the opening 20 minutes, six of eight from three, while WSU hit for 35 percent, one of seven from behind the arc.

The Raiders would get no closer than 14 the rest of the way as the Phoenix the game at 54 percent from the field, including seven of 14 from three-point range, compared to 33 percent for Wright State, who was one of 11 from behind the arc.

Wright State, which closes its season at 15-16, was led by LaShawna Thomas with 12 points while Ta-myra Davis had eight points and nine rebounds.

Green Bay (28-3), which advances to Sunday's championship game against Milwaukee, was paced by Lavesa Glover with 15, Rachel Porath with 11 and Kati Harty 10.
