VALPARAISO, IN - The Wright State men's tennis had a successful day during day one of the Valparaiso Invitational as three individuals and one doubles team picked up wins. Tony Teufel and Nick Camilleri teamed up to advance to the championship match in Flight A of the double portion.

On day one, Teufel and Camilleri each posted wins in Flight A of the singles draw and Ted Dahmus picked up a victory in Flight B. Teufel defeated Javier Saab of IUPUI by scores of 6-4, 2-6, 10-7 to advance and Camilleri knocked off Renan Constantino of IPFW, 6-2, 6-0. In Flight B, Dahmus outlasted Arturo Salgado, 6-4, 7-6 (7-1) to advance to the quarterfinals.

In doubles matches, Teufel and Camilleri posted two wins in Flight A, defeating Ross Gehlhausen and Gregory Sosa from IUPUI 8-4 in the opening round and knocking out Nic Kooyers and Joe Venegas of Valparaiso 8-5 to advance to the finals tomorrow afternoon.
