During the first week of the spring quarter, the Wright State men's basketball team took some time to help at the United Rehabilitation Services VIP Bowl-a-Thon at Poelking Center in Huber Heights.

On Tuesday, March 31, players Scott Grote and Ronnie Thomas along with Administrative Assistant Lucas McKay helped raise funds for children and adults with disabilities and other special needs.

March is National Mental Retardation and Development Disabilities Awareness Month.
