Junior guard Todd Brown led the Wright State men's basketball team to two important wins last week against Milwaukee and Green Bay and, for his efforts, he was named the Horizon League Player of the Week, announced league officials Monday.

Also honored today with an All-Horizon League Second Team selection, Brown scored 21 and 19 points in those games last week while shooting 50% from the field with nine rebounds. Against Milwaukee, the Canton, Ohio native became the school's 27th member of the 1,000-point club.

The Raiders, 18-12, 12-6, will host Valparaiso in the first round of the Speedway Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship Tuesday at 7 pm. For ticket information, call 775-4242.
