Brown, Graham Honored by Horizon League

Will Graham helped lead WSU to a top-five ranking nationally in scoring defense

March 2, 2009

Horizon League Release

Two Raiders received postseason honors from the Horizon League Monday as junior guard Todd Brown was selected to the Second Team and senior guard Will Graham was named to the All-Defensive Team.

Brown, a native of Canton, Ohio, has averaged 11.8 points and 5.0 rebounds for the Raiders overall this year, but increased those averages to 15.4 points and 5.8 rebounds during Horizon League play. Brown also shot 41% from three-point range and joined the Raiders' 1,000-point club last Thursday against Milwaukee.

Graham, a native of Lexington, Kentucky, is the second Raider ever to be selected to the All-Defensive Team as DaShaun Wood was named in 2007. The senior tied for the team lead in steals with 28 while helping the Raiders place in the top five nationally in scoring defense much of the season.

Wright State is currently 18-12, 12-6 and will host Valparaiso Tuesday night at 7:00 in the first round of the Speedway Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship. Tickets can be purchased at the Nutter Center Box Office or through TicketMaster.
