Scott Woods is in his second year as Director of Basketball Operations at Wright State after many years of coaching experience at the collegiate and the high school levels.

Woods, who was an assistant coach at Saginaw Valley State University before coming to WSU, has also held assistant coaching positions Manchester (IN) College and DePauw (IN) University as well as several high schools in Indiana.

Woods graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 1993 where he was named all-league as a junior and senior. In 2003, he was inducted into Rose-Hulman's Hall of Fame.

"We are very fortunate to hire someone with Scott's experience in our director of basketball operations position," says head coach Brad Brownell. "He has held several assistant coaching positions at smaller colleges and he is excited about the opportunity at the Division I level."

His main duties are in the area of scouting, on-campus recruiting, travel and academics for the team.
