Former Raider baseball player Alex Kaminsky was first signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cleveland Indians, then he was named to the New York-Penn League All-Star team and now he has been honored as the Indians Minor League Player of the Week.

Former Wright State pitcher Alex Kaminsky, who signed with the Cleveland Indians organization as a free agent this summer, has been selected to compete in the New York-Penn League All-Star Game as part of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

The Wright State baseball team will be holding walk-on tryouts on Monday, September 20 for all prospective student-athletes. The tryout will take place at Nischwitz Stadium starting at 4:00 and all interested student-athletes must contact Associate Head Coach Greg Lovelady.
