The Wright State cross country teams competed Saturday at the Friendship Invitational, held at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course at Cedarville University.

The Raider men, running an 8K race, finished fifth overall as Evan Firestone placed fourth with a time of 25:43. The WSU women, running a 5K race, were sixth, led by Natalie Hopwood, who was seventh with a time of 19:07.

Wright State returns to action at the All-Ohio Championships October 2 at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.
