DAYTON, Ohio - The Wright State men's swimming and diving program swept the weekly awards handed out by the Horizon League on Monday (January 25). Sophomore Hermanus Botha took home swimmer of the week honors for the third time this season and junior Caleb Nettleton earned his third career diver of the week award after a solid showing off the boards.

Botha swept his three events in a dual meet victory against Cleveland State on Saturday.  The South African's two individual wins came in the 100- and 200-yard freestyle races, posting season-best times of 46.13 and 1:41.48, respectively. Botha holds a combined record of 10-2 in both races this season.  The sophomore ended the meet as a member of the winning 400 freestyle relay team, touching the wall at 3:07.21.  The award marks the third for Botha this season and in his career.

In the same meet, Nettleton provided some quality points of his own to the 149-94 triumph over the Vikings.  The North Canton, Ohio, native, won the one-meter diving competition with a score of 289.20.  He has won the one-meter height five out of seven tries this season.  Nettleton earned second-place honors off the three-meter board with a final tally of 302.92.  The junior picks up his second career weekly laurel.

The Green and Gold will return to the pool on Saturday, January 30 when they host Xavier during senior night festivities and the annual alumni night at the WSU Natatorium. The meet will start at 11:00 a.m.
