Molley Pipkorn won all three individual swims and Zach Fisher swept a pair of swims at the Wright State Swimming and Diving's dual meet against Cincinnati at the WSU Natatorium. The men's team dropped a 128-112 decision, while the women's squad won 127-114 in their final tune up before the Horizon League Championships.
On the men's side, Zach Fisher posted victories in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly to pace the Raiders. Fisher posted his seventh best time in the 50 free and posted the teams second fastest time this season in the fly. The men's team ended the program on a high note with a victory in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
Pipkorn won all three of her individual swims, including winning back-to-back events early in the meet. The freshman won the 1000 freestyle in a season-best time of 10:25.96 and followed that up with a team-best time of 1:53.93 in the 200 freestyle, just ten minutes later. Later in the meet, Pipkorn won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:07.26.
Wieczerzak also won a pair of events - taking the 400 IM and the 100 backstroke - while the Raiders won both relay events to claim the victory.
The next time the two teams hit the pool will be in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, when they compete at the Horizon League Championships. The league summit will start on Wednesday, February 25 and end on Saturday, February 28.
