CINCINATI, Ohio – The Wright State swimming and diving program swept a dual meet at Xavier on Saturday, with Zach Fisher setting four pool records during the men’s program. The men’s squad won a tightly contested 116-85 decision and the women’s team winning, 124-79.
Fisher joined Nathan Demchuk, Davynn Peffer and Hermanus Botha on the 400 yard medley relay team which opened the men’s competition with a pool record time of 3:28.33. The senior then broke the pool record in the 50 yard freestyle (20.75) and closed the meet with a pair of school records as a member of the 400 yard Freestyle Relay. Swimming the first leg, Fisher broke the 100 yard Freestyle record with a 46.69 clip and along with his teammates broke the relay record with a time of 3:07.10.
In the women’s program, the Raiders won eight events to pick up the victory over Xavier. Freshman Molley Pipkorn won both of the freestyle distance events, Krystyna Wieczerzak took victories in a pair of swims and Kelsey Cooper was victorious in both the 100 and 200 yd. freestyle events.

The next competition for the Raiders will be on Saturday, January 24th as they travel north of swim against Cleveland State. The two teams will take to the pool at 2:00, with the women also swimming against Youngstown State.
