2008-2009: Competed in three events at the Horizon League Championships...placed 12th in the 200-yard breaststroke, 14th in the 100-yard breaststroke, and 19th in the 200-yard individual medley...also placed top team times in both the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke.

2007-2008: Competed in two events at the Horizon League Championships...swam the 100 Breaststroke and 200 Breaststroke at the league meet...held some of the teams top times in the 100 Breaststroke and 200 Breaststroke.

Prep: Lettered all four years for the Senecas...team captain and MVP as a senior...named First Team All-North Central Ohio Swimming as a senior...state qualifier in the 100 breast...also lettered three times in softball, where she was named Honorable Mention All-Midland Athletic League, and volleyball.

Personal: Born Samantha Jo Ritzler on April 19, 1989...is the daughter of Charles and Beth Ritzler and has one brother and one sister.
