2008-2009: Competed in three events in the Horizon League Championships...placed seventh in the 1000-yard freestyle, ninth in the 1650-yard freestyle, and eleventh in the 200-yard freestyle...held top times in the 200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 1000-yard freestyle, and the 1650-yard freestyle.

2007-2008: Competed in three individual finals at the Horizon League Championships...posted a runner-up finish in the 1650 Freestyle at the league meet...posted a third place finish in the 1000 Freestyle and a seventh place showing in the 200 Freestyle at the league meet...owned the teams top time in the 1650 Freestyle...also held some of the teams top times in the 200 Freestyle, 500 Freestyle and 1000 Freestyle.

Prep: Lettered all four years for the Mustangs...team captain as a senior...set a sectional record in the 200 free...team placed third in the state in 2004 and fifth in 2005.

Personal: Born Cara Ann Briggs on February 20, 1989...is the daughter of Steve and Cathy Briggs and has one brother and one sister.
