Volleyball Working With Habitat for Humanity
The Wright State volleyball team recently volunteered their time with Habitat for Humanity on a local housing project.

Men's Basketball Visit to Fairborn Intermediate School
Several players from the Wright State men's basketball team visited with students on Friday, September 29, as part of Fairborn Intermediate School's September STARRS assembly.

Volleyball Working With Special Olympics
As part of their service to the community, the Wright State volleyball team worked with Special Olympics at a camp. There they met Tammy and her mother, which later resulted in the team attending a 30th birthday party for Tammy at the Hampton Inn on July 19.

Brandy Williams, Cheerleader
Williams worked at Camp Oty Okwa, a camp for foster children and children with psychological disorders, this summer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Columbus, Ohio. Williams has served as a counselor the last five years after attending the camp for seven years.

Cheerleaders and Rowdy at The Greene Grand Opening
Wright State cheerleaders and Rowdy were at the opening of The Greene's Cold Stone Creamery on Saturday, August 26. The first 250 purchasers received two tickets to the men's basketball home opener on Saturday, December 2, against Detroit.

Volleyball Gives Back to Children's Medical Center This week the Wright State volleyball team was focusing on their upcoming season opener against Western Kentucky, but earlier this week the Raiders took time to go visit some courageous children at the Children's Medical Center.

The twelve players and the coaching staff stopped by Children's Medical Center to hang out with some of the patients and pass out some autographed mini-volleyballs to some lucky children. The Raiders spent their afternoon playing games and talking with some of the patients and their families around the medical center.
