Men's Soccer Takes I-75 Cup with 2-0 Win

The Wright State men's soccer team took home the I-75 Cup with a 2-0 win over Bowling Green Tuesday night at WSU's Alumni Field.
First Half Highlights
AJ Paterson got the Raiders' scoring attack on track early with a goal on a header from about 10 yards in front off a long pass from Sam DeRoy at 5:26. It was Paterson's team-leading seventh goal of the year. Each team had six shots with three on goal for the Falcons to one for WSU. Paterson had two shots.
Second Half Highlights
The teams exchanged chances but Luke Treadway got open in front of the net to receive a perfect pass from Alex Philippe for Wright State's second goal. It was Treadway's second goal of the season. WSU had 12 total shots to BGSU's 10 shots. In his first start in goal for WSU, Alex Williams picked up the win with six saves.

Wright State (8-4-1, 4-1) will travel to Milwaukee to take on the Panthers Saturday night at 8 pm eastern. The Falcons fall to 6-6 overall.
