Kim Grant is in her fifth year as the Marketing and Sales Director for Wright State athletics, having rejoining the department in 2002.
Before taking over her current position, Grant was the Promotions Director for WSU from 1989 to 1996 and the Tournament Director for the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) event in Dayton from 1996 to 2002.
Along with her duties in the athletics department, Grant has been part of the Wright State Alumni Board of Directors since 2000 and is also the Marketing Chair for the group. A member of the Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) since 1997, she has served terms as both Vice-President (1999-2001, 2004-05) and President (2001-02). Grant is also currently on the organizing committee for the Women's Leadership Symposium.
Grant appeared in the 2000 book "Profiles of Sport Industry Professionals" and was named a Top 40 Under 40 by the Dayton Business Journal in 1998. Her articles on business networking through golf have been published in the Dayton Business Journal and in On the Link.
Grant received her bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Bowling Green State University in 1987. In 2000, she earned her master's degree from Wright State in Training and Development.
A Beavercreek native, Grant resides there along with her husband Bob, who serves as as associate athletic director at Wright State, and their two children, Braden and Jordan.
