The Wright State Cheerleaders and Emerald Jazz received national bids to compete in Daytona Beach, Florida, in 2007.

In order to be selected, the squads had to meet the following criteria:

Earn blue ribbons in all evaluations
Receive a Spirit Stick, which both squads earned on the first night of camp
Be on time to all sessions
Display great sportsmanship
Participate in all sessions
Coaches attendance at all scheduled meetings
