Watson Added to WSU Athletics' Academics Staff

Megan Watson comes to Wright State after working at Cincinnati the past two years

Feb. 25, 2008

Megan Watson, formerly an Athletic Academic Advisor at the University of Cincinnati, has been named to a similar position for Wright State University athletics, WSU athletics director Mike Cusack announced today.

Watson, who worked with several sports at UC, including football, since 2006, will work closely with all athletes, specifically men's and women's basketball. Working with head academic advisor Judy Chivers, the 2000 graduate of Truman State University in Missouri will track and monitor the academic progress of student-athletes, meet with prospective student-athletes and evaluate transcripts.

Receiving her master's degree in 2003 from Texas A&M, Watson also held a similar position there while also assisting the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as a co-advisor.
