Alumni Field was dedicated in the Fall of 1999 through the generous donation of the Wright State University Alumni Association . Since then, it has acted as the home field for the men's and women's soccer programs at Wright State as well as the site for many high school and semi-pro games.

With the addition of lights, the field ranks among the best in the Horizon League as well as the Midwest with its near-perfection playing surface, state-of-the-art water and drainage system and seating up to 1,000. Plans are under way to add other amenities to yet improve the fine facility.
