11 Named to HL Spring All-Academic Teams

The Horizon League Friday released its spring all-academic teams with 11 Wright State student-athletes being recognized.

Of the 11, two are repeat honorees in baseball's Sean Murphy and Linsey Verstrepen in women's tennis as the two juniors were also honored in 2014-15.

To be eligible for Academic All-Horizon League consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher and have completed at least one year at the member institution.

Faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors in the league make the selections to the teams.
