Swimming Competes in Day Two of HL Championships

The Wright State swimming & diving teams competed in the second day of the 2017 Horizon League Championships Thursday in Chicago. After two days, the WSU men currently sit in 4th and the women are in 7th.

The men's 200 freestyle relay team of Chace Conley, Dominic Poletta, Bradford Johnson, and PJ Musser took first place with a time of 1:21.59. The men also got a second place finish from Mitch Godar in the 1 meter diving.

On the women’s side, Ashlyn Roberts came in fifth in the 50 freestyle and the 200 freestyle relay team of Roberts, Sofia Aledo, Emily Hayhow, and Nikki Borgerding finished fourth.

The championships continue through Saturday.
