Swimming Competes in Opening Day of HL Championships

The Wright State swimming and diving teams competed in the opening day of the Horizon League Championships Wednesday in Chicago.  The Raider women currently sit in fourth and the men are fifth.

The women got a first-place finish from Kyah Fleckner in the 3 meter dive while the women’s 200 medley relay team of Sofia Aledo, Nikki Borgerding, Emily Hayhow, and Ashlyn Roberts set a new school record with a time of 1:39.96.

The men received a fourth place finish from the 200 medley relay team (Gavin Mickelson, Trevor Keriazes, PJ Musser, and Jacob Pudik).

The championships continue through Saturday.
