An Ashley Miltko goal midway through the first half proved to be the final goal of the day as the Wright State women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw at Eastern Kentucky Sunday afternoon.
The Colonels opened the scoring at the 8:08 mark of the first half on a Kaylynn Brown goal before Miltko tied it at the 24:26 mark. The sophomore forward connected on a shot 25 yards out from the left side of the net that went over the goalkeeper head. It was the first goal of the season for Miltko while junior midfielder Sarah Gross posted her second assist.
It stayed that way for the rest of the match despite the Raiders outshooting EKU 9-4 in the second half and in overtime. Junior goalkeeper Brooke McCurdy tallied three saves for WSU.
Wright State (2-1-3) hosts IPFW Friday at 7:00.
