Light Schedule During Exam Week

The schedule over the next week will be light due to exam week at Wright State University as both basketball teams will only play on Sunday.

 

Women’s Basketball:  The Wright State women’s basketball team will take a record of 7-3 into a game against Xavier at home Sunday at 2 pm.

Kim Demmings leads the Raiders in scoring at 22.2 points per game while Ivory James (17.3) and Tay’ler Mingo (14.5) also average in double digits.  Tayler Stanton is tops in rebounding at an 8.4 average while Demmings has grabbed 6.8 rebounds per game.

Xavier is currently 5-4 overall but has won the last two games against Murray State and Austin Peay.  WSU won 66-65 at Xavier a year ago.

 

Men’s Basketball: With a record of 5-6, the WSU men’s basketball team will play Miami in Oxford Sunday at 2 pm.  Fans can watch the game live on the Horizon League Network.

AJ Pacher leads the team in scoring at 11.4 points per game and rebounding at 5.0 per game.  Miles Dixon (10.3) and JT Yoho (10.0) round out the WSU scorers in double figures.  Matt Vest had 15 at North Carolina A&T and 12 at VMI where he played his 100th career game.

WSU won 67-59 last year in Dayton against Miami.  MU is currently 1-5 with its lone win over IPFW last week.

Monday night, the Raiders will host The Billy Donlon Show at the Woodman Frickers at 6 pm.  Like all home games, the show can be seen live on the Horizon League Network.  All games can be heard live on 106.5 FM or through the internet at big1065.com or on iHeart Radio with the Voice of the Raiders Chris Collins.
