by WSU Athletic Media Relations

Senior catcher Corey Davis was selected to the All-Tournament Team as the Horizon League Baseball Tournament concluded Sunday in Chicago.

Davis (Happy Valley, OR/Clackamas) had three hits in the tournament, all for extra bases, as he had a double, triple and home run while scoring three times and driving in two.  He was two for five with a triple and a home run against UIC on Thursday, with two RBI and two runs scored.

After drawing two walks in Friday's first game versus Milwaukee, Davis had a double and a run scored in the second game of the day against Youngstown State.

Last year's Horizon League Newcomer of the Year, Davis was a First Team All-League selection in each of his two seasons at WSU and was part of the 2011 All-Tournament Team as the Raiders won the title.

Valparaiso won this year's tournament, defeating UIC 14-5 in the title game.
