Men's Tennis Goes 2-1 On Week

The Wright State men's tennis went 2-1 over the week, falling to #23 Indiana before posting 7-0 wins over Robert Morris and Ohio Dominican.

The Raiders started the week with a 7-0 setback to the Hoosiers on Wednesday, January 23.  Lauri Makikalli and Jamison Clark each won a set in #1 and #5 singles, respectively.

On Saturday, January 26, WSU swept both Robert Morris and Ohio Dominican at the South Regency Tennis Center.  Against Robert Morris, all six singles players won in straight sets and the doubles duos of Myles Harris/Evan Neuman and Viljami Rahnasto/Mason Bourbon were victorious in #1 and #2 doubles.

Against Ohio Dominican, all six singles players again won in straight sets and the doubles duos of Michal Lyzwa/Makikalli and Hayden Joblin/Ricardo Pineda won in #1 and #3.

Wright State (3-2) is off for two weeks until traveling to Eastern Kentucky for a 10:00 match on Friday, February 8.  WSU will then host Chicago State on Saturday, February 9, and IPFW on Sunday, February 10, with both matches starting at 3:00 at the South Regency Tennis Center.
