Track Finishes Fourth at HL Championships

The Wright State track team finished fourth as the Horizon League Outdoor Championships concluded Sunday at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Cassandra Lloyd completed a four-year sweep in the 100 meter hurdles by winning the event with a time of 13.39.  Emily Folino was second in the same event at 13.75 and also second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.82.

The other first-place finish for the Raiders came for the second straight year in the 4x100 meter relay as the team of Folino, Lloyd, J.Chika Morah and Kacia Grant won with a time of 47.30.

The track team is back in action next weekend, May 11-12, at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta.
