The Wright State track team is in fifth place after day one of the Horizon League Outdoor Championships Friday, held at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Brooke McCurdy finished third in the javelin throw while Rudy Millard placed eighth in the 10000 meter run.

The meet continues through Sunday.
