"Even with pending Thunder Storms the kids had a great night with the Wright State Players" said assistant Jake Slemker.
The event featured a number of giveaways and skills competitions. Participants had the opportunity to be split into smaller training groups and learn firsthand from the Wright State players and coaches. Training focused on technical skills as related to both juggling and passing, and finished with an opportunity to put these skills to use in a small sided game. At the end players had an opportunity to sign autographs and meet all the kids.
"We are extremely proud of the effort of our players this spring and tonight was a chance for them to have fun and make a positive impact on the families in our community" said Davis. "We will continue to hold events like these in the future and look forward to welcoming these families back to upcoming camps, clinics, games and other Wright State soccer events."
