It is our hope that during your time at Wright State University, you maintain a successful and injury free career. However, in competitive athletics, injuries do occur and that is where we step in.
Staff members of the Athletic Training Department at Wright State University are all nationally certified and state licensed allied health care providers in athletic training. Our training includes injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation techniques and skills. We serve as the initial contact between the student-athletes and the team physicians in regards to injury management. It is imperative to report any and all injuries to the athletic training staff, which can then provide appropriate care. The athletic trainers are also responsible for scheduling all physician appointments, procedures or any medical tests prescribed by the team physicians.
We hope that all of our student-athletes have a successful and enjoyable experience while attending Wright State University and it is our goal to provide the best possible care for any medical issues that may arise during this time. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions that you may have about our department, our policies or our procedures.
