Baseball Receives Votes in USA Today Coaches' Poll

The Wright State baseball team received two votes in this week's USA Today Coaches' Poll, which was announced on Monday.  Click here for the poll.

This is the 14th poll that the Raiders have been a part of this season and the fourth time that WSU has appeared in the USA Today Coaches' Poll as Wright State received eight votes in the March 6 poll, two votes on April 10 and 11 votes on April 17.   WSU was ranked #25 by Baseball America in its February 20 poll and received votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll that week and on February 27, March 6, April 3, April 10, April 17, April 24, May 1 and May 8.

With an overall record of 32-15, Wright State is tied atop of the Horizon League standings with an 18-5 mark.  The Raiders are scheduled to play five games this week, starting with a home matchup with crosstown rival Dayton on Tuesday, May 9, followed by a pair of league doubleheaders at Milwaukee on Friday, May 12, and UIC on Saturday, May 13.
