Baseball Receives Votes in USA Today Coaches' Poll

The Wright State baseball team received 11 votes in this week's USA Today Coaches' Poll, which was announced on Monday.  Click here for the poll.

This is the 10th poll that the Raiders have been a part of this season and the third time that WSU has appeared in the USA Today Coaches' Poll as Wright State received eight votes in the March 6 poll and two votes on April 10.  WSU was ranked #25 by Baseball America in its February 20 poll and received votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll that week and on February 27, March 6, April 3, April 10 and April 17.

With an overall record of 25-8, Wright State sits atop of the Horizon League standings with an 11-1 mark.  The Raiders are scheduled to play six games this week, starting with the Joe Nuxhall Classic on Tuesday (Miami, 3:00) and Wednesday (Cincinnati/Xavier, 3:00/6:30).  WSU then hosts Oakland in a doubleheader on Saturday (1:00) and travels to Valparaiso for a twinbill on Sunday (1:00).
