Men's Tennis Falls in League Opener at Green Bay

The Wright State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision on the road against Green Bay Saturday afternoon.

The Raiders won two of the six singles matches, receiving victories from Jonas Brezing and Carlos Estrada Sanchez.

Wright State (3-12, 0-1 Horizon) will be back in action tomorrow as they travel to Milwaukee for another road match against Marquette, starting at noon Eastern.

2) Jonas Brezing def. Matej Kostadinov (GB) 2-6, 7-6, 7-6

3) Josh Schramm (GB) def. Fernando Nardelli 6-3, 6-2

4) Carlos Estrada Sanchez def. Miles McDowall (GB) 6-4, 6-4

5) Charlie Ridout (GB) def. Javier Alvarez de la Villa 6-3, 6-7, 7-5

6) Ivan Radomirovic (GB) def. Donovan Cellupica-Towers 7-5, 7-5

 

Doubles Results

1) Matej Kostadinov/McDowall (GB) def. Donovan Cellupica-Towers 6-3

2) Florian Kraenzler/Charlie Ridont (GB) def. Fernando Nardelli/Jacob Perkins 6-2

3) Javier Alvarez de la Villa/Carlos Estrada Sanchez led Joshua Schramm/Ivan Radomirovic (GB) 4-2 unfinished
