Women’s Soccer Hosts Northern Kentucky

After a cancellation due to the weather last Wednesday night against Northern Kentucky, the Wright State women’s soccer team will host NKU Tuesday at 7 pm.  The game will be shown live on ESPN3.

Wright State:  The Raiders, 6-8-2 and 4-2-1, are coming off a 1-0 loss against UIC last Saturday.  WSU is currently in fourth place in the Horizon League while NKU is in third place.  Aaliyah Patten (3g, 4a) and Sarah Colvin (3g, 4a) each have 10 points.  Goalie Katie Ruff, a three-time Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week, has a 1.33 goals against average overall.

Northern Kentucky:  NKU has a 9-5-2, 5-1-1 and is 4-0-1 over the last five games.  NKU won 3-0 in last year’s game against Wright State.  Macy Hamblin leads the way with six goals and six assists as Jessica Frey also has six tallies.

Looking Ahead: Next up, the Raiders end the regular season Friday at Oakland at 7 pm.
