Men's Tennis Defeats Detroit

The Wright State men's tennis team improved to 4-1 in the Horizon League with a 5-1 win over Detroit Saturday night at the South Regency Tennis Center.

Hayden Joblin, Lauri Makikalli, Ricardo Pineda and Marc Sodini each won in singles play while the duos of Myles Harris/Pineda and Dan Gilbert/Makikalli were victorious in doubles.

Wright State (10-10, 4-1 Horizon) hosts Duquesne on Friday, April 11.

2) Hayden Joblin def. Jay Joshi (DET) 6-3, 6-0

3) Lauri Makikalli def. Patryk Koscielski (DET) 6-4, 7-5

5) Ismail Kadyrov (DET) led Michal Lyzwa 7-6, 2-1 unfinished

6) Marc Sodini def. Chance Conley (DET) 4-6, 6-3, 10-2
