Behind two goals from senior forward Emilie Fillion, the Wright State women's soccer team rolled to a 4-0 win over Findlay Wednesday night at Alumni Field.
Sophomore forward Ini Umotong gave the Raiders a quick 1-0 lead at the 10:32 mark of the first half with her fourth goal of the season. Sophomore midfielder Kalee Thompson was credited iwht the assist, her third.
Fillion then extended the advantage to 3-0 with her two goals, the first coming at the 26:19 mark of the first half and the second at the 51:07 mark of the second half, giving her eight on the year. Sophomore forward Amy Anderson recorded her second assist of the season on the first goal while sophomore forward Natalie Sedlock tallied her third assist of 2013 on the second.
Freshman forward Paige Aguilera rounded out the scoring with her first collegiate goal at the 80:30 mark on the first assist of sophomore Alex Hoferkamp's career.
WSU's three goalkeepers--senior Brooke McCurdy and sophomores Halle Pyle and Kelsey Deal--combined on the shutout.
Wright State (5-4-3) returns to Horizon League play on Saturday, October 12, as the Raiders visit Valparaiso for a 4:00 Eastern contest.
