The Wright State women's soccer team closed out a perfect mark in exhibition play Sunday night at Alumni Field, scoring a goal in each half to defeat Evansville 2-1.

Senior Emilie Fillion scored her second goal in three exhibition matches at the 29:11 mark of the first half on a pass from sophomore Ashley Gogolin from the left side.  The Raiders then made it 2-0 at the 69:14 mark of the second half as freshman Mackenzie Hamilton tallied a goal off a pass from sophomore Natalie Sedlock.

Evansville cut the deficit in half at the 73:11 mark as Emily Griebel found the upper left corner of the goal off a pass from Tatiana Pagan, but the Purple Aces would get no closer.

Wright State opens the regular season on Friday, August 23, at IPFW starting at 5:30.  The home opener for WSU is on Thursday, September 5, at 7:00 against Western Michigan.
