Milwaukee broke the game open with 10 runs in a three-inning span as the Panthers went on to a 15-2 decision over Wright State in the baseball series finale Saturday at Nischwitz Stadium.
The Panthers scored twice in the first, only to see WSU answer with a run of its own in the bottom of the frame. With two out, Garrett Gray walked, stole second and scored on a single to left off the bat of Kieston Greene.
Milwaukee, however, broke the game open with five runs in the third, two in the fourth and three in the fifth and added three more in the eighth.
The final run for the Raiders came in the eighth as Mark Fowler had a hit to right, Michael Timm walked and Greene plated Fowler with a single through the left side.
Fowler, Gray and Greene each had two hits for WSU.
Wright State (6-11, 1-2 Horizon) will host two midweek nonleague games against Cincinnati on Tuesday, March 19, and Toledo on Wednesday, March 20, with both starting at 6:30.
