The Wright State women's tennis team won twice Saturday at the South Regency Tennis Center in Springboro, defeating both Morehead State and Ohio Dominican by a 6-1 score.

Against Morehead State, the Raiders won the doubles point by forfeit and then won five of six singles matches as Alex Bastock won in #1 singles (6-4, 6-4), Taylor Hines in #2 singles (6-1, 6-0), Chelsea Girgash in #4 singles (6-1, 6-0). Liz Steingass in #5 singles (6-1, 6-3) and Megan McNamara in #6 singles (forfeit).

Against Ohio Dominican, WSU won the doubles point as Hines/Amy Nini won 8-2 in #1 doubles and Bastock/McNamara in #2 doubles.  The Raiders then won five of six singles matches as Hines won in #2 singles (6-1, 4-6, 10-7), Nini in #3 singles (6-3, 6-1), Girgash in #4 singles (7-5, 3-6, 10-8), Steingass in #5 singles (6-4, 6-2) and McNamara in #6 singles (6-2, 6-2).

Wright State (5-6) hosts Oakland on Saturday, March 16, at 3:30 at the South Regency Tennis Center before going on the road on Sunday, March 17, for a 4:00 match at IUPUI.
