Baseball Drops Decision to Bryant

Bryant scored eight times in the final three innings to break open a 4-0 lead en route to a 12-0 decision over Wright State in baseball action Sunday afternoon at Nischwitz Stadium.

The Bulldogs scored three in the first and one more in the second and it stayed that way heading into the seventh despite WSU having the bases loaded in the fourth and fifth.

Bryant then broke it open with six in the seventh and one in both the eighth and ninth.

Cody Gardner led the Raider offense with two hits.

Wright State (4-9) is scheduled to host five games this upcoming week, taking on Wilmington on Tuesday, March 12, and Otterbein on Wednesday, March 13, both at 6:30, before beginning Horizon League play with a three-game series against Milwaukee.  The Raiders and Panthers will play single games on Friday, March 15, at 6:30, Saturday, March 16, at 2:00 and Sunday, March 17, at 1:00.
