Men's Soccer to Hold Walk-On Tryouts
Release: Tuesday 01/29/2013
by WSU Athletic Media Relations
The Wright State men's soccer team will be holding walk-on tryouts on Thursday, February 7, for all prospective student-athletes. The tryout will take place at Alumni Field from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

In order to be eligible to participate, all potential student-athletes must meet each of the following criteria: Each athlete must be accepted to Wright State University, must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the current semester, must be registered and cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse and must have a physical from your physician prior to the first day of tryouts with proper documentation to give to our Athletic Training Staff.

Also, if you are already a student at Wright State University you must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher in order to eligible for competition and practice.

All potential student-athletes are invited to tryout, however, it does not guarantee a spot on the roster. The number of open roster positions and the team's needs ultimately decide if you are invited to be part of the Wright State University men's soccer program. Contact Assistant Coach David Korn at if you have any questions, or to register for the tryout. All forms must be completed by 5:00 pm the day before the tryout.
