Women's Tennis Picked Sixth in Horizon League

The Wright State women's tennis team was picked sixth as the Horizon League preseason poll was released on Friday.

The Raiders, who finished 10-13 overall and 4-4 in the league in 2012, return eight letterwinners from last season, led by sophomore Alex Bastock, who won 15 singles matches.  Also back is senior Amy Nini, who recorded 12 singles wins a year ago, and sophomore Abby Lewis, who had 11 along with 13 doubles wins.

WSU opens the spring schedule with seven straight home matches at the South Regency Tennis Center in Springboro, starting with Robert Morris on Saturday, January 26, at 3:30 and Dayton on Sunday, January 27, at 1:00.
