The men's basketball team starts on the road before hosting VMI Saturday while the women's team plays two away and indoor track starts the season in Columbus.

 

Men's Basketball: The men open the week a couple of hours north of Dayton at Bowling Green Monday at 7 pm.  The Raiders are currently 5-2 and were led to a 66-57 win over Morehead State Saturday by Cole Darling's career-high 29 points.  The Holt, Michigan native hit 10 field goals and six free throws, ending the first half with 22 points.

Bowling Green enters the game at 3-4 after beating Detroit but losing to Youngstown State at home last week.  BGSU leads the overall series against WSU 6-5.

Saturday, the Raiders will return home to host VMI at 7 pm.  VMI is currently 3-5 but host Virginia-Lynchburg Monday night.

 

Women's Basketball: The women will play Tuesday afternoon at Miami at 1:30 before continuing the MAC tour with a 2 pm game at Akron Saturday afternoon.

WSU is currently 2-3 and have been led by sophomore Kim Demmings with a 16.8 points per game average and Taylor Stanton at 7.0 rebounds per game.

Miami is currently 4-3 with a 50-40 win against UMass but a 76-56 loss to Horizon League foe Youngstown State.  Akron is 6-1 with a game at George Mason Wednesday night.

 

Indoor Track: The women's indoor track team opens at Purple and White Invitational Saturday hosted by Capital University in Columbus.  The Raiders are expected to be led by Kylie Kopp, Rudy Millard, Maria Harrison and Maggie McPherson among others.
